FORAC is the national voice of optometric regulatory bodies in the 10 provinces and 3 territories. Our members administer applicable provincial, territorial and federal legislation. Although, provincial and territorial differences exist in legislation, regulation, registration and opinions on issues, our policies reflect the opinion of the majority of our members and are always based on serving the public interest and regulating the profession of optometry in a transparent and safe manner. Our integrity is demonstrated by ethical conduct, fairness, openness and accountability.
